London NFT Bar Web Page Design

Arcades Apes Web-Page Design 🕹️🐒
As a UX/UI designer, I was offered an opportunity to create web page design for the Arcades Apes, London's Newest Retro Gaming & Cocktail Bar that acts as a bridge to get people curious about crypto and NFTs.

Problem:
The company doesn't have a web page to build trust with, provide the information necessary, or spark curiosity in potential visitors.
Solution:
The solution involves designing a uniquely styled promotional page.
Objective:
An engaging online presence that effectively showcases the Arcade Apes' offering and reflecting a retrospective on the captivating world of retro gaming.

User Testing
5-second test
The majority of focus group participants described the initial design impression as retro, which was in line with the intended design objectives. However, nearly half of the respondents felt that the design was not as creative and appealing, indicating the need for further improvements.

User feedback
From the user feedback on the page, they particularly liked the links to Vapourware stylistic, the dark theme, and triangular shapes but felt that the overall design was rather restrained, and the the visuals were not very appealing.

Main Screen Design Further Exploration
The main idea was to incorporate more retro-inspired graphics and colours to create a more open and playful tone to the site, while still adhering to modern design trends and conventions.
Design Prototype Update
Validation
Stakeholders feedback
Positive feedback and valuable guidance throughout the iterative design process from William Deng, a lead UX/UI designer in the fintech industry, mentor and project collaborator.

User feedback
Users gave positive feedback on the final design, describing it as creative and appealing, both modern and retro, making them want to have a drink and play some games.
Results
The work on the design was well received and the design was then developed by me in Framer with mobile adaptive and animations and is now live: 🔗https://arcadeapes.framer.website/, bringing joy and inspiration to its visitors.
